Description The wall of the ductus epididymis is pseudostratified epithelium with stereocilia. These cellular extensions are involved in resorption of luminal fluid. The principal cells have elongated nuclei, and the basal cells have round nuclei. The wall of the epididymis is composed of circularly arranged smooth muscle and surrounded by connective tissue.
