The bulk of the testis is formed by the seminiferous tubules. Please note that the tubules are surrounded by a basal lamina and stromal connective tissue. Within the seminiferous tubule, spermatogonia divide and mature to produce spermatozoa Within the surrounding stroma adipocytes, fibroblasts, and interstitial cells are present.
