Title Correspondence pertaining to the Arab Information Center
Description Consists of three letters, 2 typewritten in English, the third handwritten in Arabic. The first, dated June 2, 1970, from John J. Behabetz, Vice President of Riggs National Bank, noting Sayegh's appointment as Director General of the Arab Information Center and offering the Center his bank's services. The second, dated June 16, 1970, is Sayegh's reply correcting Behabetz' misconception about his appointment, saying he will actually be the Permanent Observer of the Arab League at the U.N. Two copies of this letter have been scanned. The third letter is unrelated. It is dated Oct. 12, 1975, written by somebody (signature illegible) at the Arab Information Center, about a booklet entitled "Nawha al-salam fi Filastin," which he is sending to Sayegh to look over.
