Title A tutorial on Stochastic FDTD
Date 2014-01-01
Description The Stochastic FDTD (S-FDTD) method provides a way to determine the mean and variance of the electric and magnetic fields in a model where the electrical properties (conductivity and permittivity) vary stochastically, from a single S-FDTD simulation. This method is a realistic and more efficient alternative to Monte Carlo analysis, which requires numerous FDTD simulations.
