Title Reported attitudes of Edmonton women towards abortion
Date 1976
Description Abortion is a topic that many Canadians feel strongly about and one that has attracted a lot of public attention and debate in the past few years. Much of this attention can be attributed to the reactions of various people and organizations to the new amendments to the Canadian criminal code passed in June 19&S and the purpose of which was "to bring the laws in line with 'modern thinking' on certain natters of private morality " (Pelrine, 1971:2S).
