The South Valley Canal Company, Daggett County, Utah was established 21 March 1921 by Heber Bennion, Jr., Vern Hardy, Keith Smith, Elbert E. Waite, Dr. F. W. Tinker and George C. Rasmussen. The company owned and maintained the South Valley Canal from the east end of the Sheep Creek Irrigation Company lateral eastward along a hillside in South Valley.

The South Valley Canal Company Collection was removed from the Smith and Larsen Mercantile Company Collection, Mss B 86., along with the Peoples Canal Company Collection, Mss A 2539. It includes an account book, minutes of the first meeting, assessment statements, labor records, and the Articles of Association.
