Description The Ute Indian Fire fighter were called to action for the second time within a seven day period during July, 1970. The were flown to the Washington State where a rash of fires have plagued the northwestern area. There were about 45 fire fighters sent. The firemen had two crew leaders, Reed Tavapont and Chico Wissiup.
