Title Club heads found near Jensen, Utah
Identifier 9962
Subject Indian Artifacts--Club Heads
Description Club heads made from a flat river drift stone the only working is a rude notch on either side. Stone A-Length is 17cm or 6.75 in., Width 11 cm or 4.25 in. Stone B-Length is 17 cm or 6.75 in., Width 13 cm. or 5.25 in. These stones were found on a clay flat three miles above Jensen, Utah on the east side of the Green River. The two objects were placed together because of similarities of locations. They may on be clubheads but perhaps used in fishing sometimes referred to as "net weights" but these seem a little large for that purpose.
