Description The Central Saloon was located on South Vernal Avenue on the west side of the street. It was the fourth building down from the bank of Vernal (Zion's Bank). This building was first owned by Leo Wilson and then Harry Yarnell, who operated the Little Chicago Saloon. On March 22, 1904, James Dobby and Charles Alonzo MaCarrel purchased this building from the Yarnell's for $4,100 and reponed the business as the Central Saloon. At the bar in the Central Saloon stands Harmon Nobles is left at the end of the bar. Jim Dobbie is behind the bar next to Nobles. Frank McCarrel is in front of the bar. Dennis Alonzo McCarrel, Charles Alonzo McCarrel's son, is behind the bar on the right. Man at right end of bar is unidentified.
