Description Bill Weeks opened the Roundup Bar & Lounge at 651 East Main in Vernal, Utah. This was the year in 1950. This building stood on the east side of the present Jack's General Tire. In 1970 Eleanor Jean Doyle McMickell bought the Roundup. She had divorced Frost McMickell and married Luke Alford in 1974. Eleanor had the nickname of "Tyke." She died in 1986 after operating the bar for sixteen years. The building was never used again. It was demolished to make an entrance off mainstreet to the Uintah County Public Safety Complex.
