Albert Haws was born February 15, 1835 in Wayne, Illinois. His parents were Gilberth and Hannah Whitcomb Haws. He married Nancy Haws(Maiden Name) (1840-1908) on January 16, 1857. Their children were Albert A. (1858-1932) Elenora (1862-1903), Mary M. (1867-1938), Marion O. (1865-1923) Emily M. (1868-1890). He married Harriet Mayberry (1860-1933) on May 3, 1889 and they had ten children. He died in Vernal, Utah on May 20, 1912 and is buried in the Vernal Cemetery. He was arrested for plural marriage. He later divorced Nancy and she married Albert B. Atwood. She died August 8, 1908 and is buried in the Vernal Cemetery. |
