Some of the students involved in this band were Hattie Pope, Ray Stringham, Harold Davis, Oren Collett, Margaret Shaffer, and Clive Davis. It was 1910 when the Uintah Stake Academy Band played a few selection of the street corner to the surprise of most businessmen. They were not aware that the band existed. By 1912 the band earned enough money for uniforms. A concert was given at the tabernacle to help with the fund raising. |
