Description Completed Maube historic marker with the workers and members of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers Escalante Camp, including Florence Kelly and Effie Wise with Garn Swain, Henry Chatwin and Jens Jensen. Maube Ferry Monument will be an imposing on, unique in design. Above the sub-base, the upper base will be four feet wide, ten feet long, and six feet high on top of which will be a replica of the Jensen "Mabee" Ferry, one-seventh of the original size of the last ferry boad carried away by the ice jam on March 19, 1909. The size of this boat was twelve feet wide, forty-two feet long and five feet high above the water.
