Description Classic design and restraint in the use of turquoise settings is characteristic of the unique jewelry of the Hopi Silversmiths Guild. Designs are created by the noted Hopi artist, Fred Kabotie, from prehistoric patterns found on pottery fragments from ancient ruins. This beautiful Jewelry is equally suitable, for wear with conventional white people's apparel and the exotic costumes of the Hopis. Photographed on a 4x5 Anscochrome, Linhof camera with 10 inch Commercial Ektar lens, Electronic Speed flash." A Hopi woman is standing with a black button-up shirt and a plaid skirt with a silver belt, pin, necklace, and earrings."
