In Septeeber of 1851 at Fort Laracie in the Central Superiritendency was held an Indian peace aeeting, under Colonel Kitchell. Some of the Shcshonea of Utah attended and received presents, which gave thes a friendly feeling 3 towards the government. In accordance with Superintendent Young's i n s t r u c t i o n s. Day and Eolenan invited the Indians to attend the ceeting at Laracie.
