Tape 8 Have you ever heard of a man who used to be in this country that they used to call lj^ (£n 0 f\~t I D: [KVgonr^]*"- F: Did you ever hear a story about him about how some people attacked his family when he was on the Colorado River? Yes. Is he related to Lame Jane? No. He was grandfather to Isabel's father. Oh, to Monkey Frank? Yes, that was his grandfather. What is that story about him? Do you remember hearing it? Story about him? Yes, about when he was a little boy and when they were attacked. He was a grown up man when they had that. Oh, he was. Where did that happen? Huh? Where did that happen? Oh, they lived down in the Colorado River with one of his friends. Two camps were living in the Grand Canyon down in the Colorado River down where that-I told you about that South Canyon-that goes down into the Colorado River.
