Show # 10* 6 page 65 posal here I'm not proud of this, because when I read it, you know, it was so awful that ah I didn't want to pass it • out. But ah and ah you know how foundations work. I think they gave us the money based on what was ( laughter). But, anyway, we're still trying to get organized and I think lot, you know, in as far as how many staff people will be working in the program, but I think that will a lot depend on the director of the program. Somebody had their hand up. X; What will this do if he exists for national problems? Z; We really don't know. Ah as you read this and what it really ways is, I guess ah similar to what Dave and ah you know, Native American Rights Fund is doing, and ah you know, they might , but my idea is that you know, many Indian tribes may come, many Indian individuals may count, and ah the best thing that we can do for the sake of funding might be to either co- ordinate our activities, or maybe even to merge. We really don't know yet. I haven't really given it that much thought, and ah as soon as we formulate the board ah you know, we will be talking about some of those specific problems of specific areas. And what I'd like to see done in this are if the American ah Indian law students' association to elect one representative |
