Ah- there is an Indian lawyer whom we've tried to recruit. He's an experienced Indian lawyer. Ah- I won't say who because he hasn't decided what he's going to do yet. Ah- but the ah- the policy of the program is definitely to hire Indian people as to fill attorney vacancies, and to recruit Indian people wherever possible. The precentage of our non- lawyer staff as Indian has gone up steadily since the program began. Sir? X: Ah- I'd like to respond to programs I don't think it's a handling major litigations and day to day. I think the ah- your type of organization get involved in the Community Development of the Indian people, and not just handling their legal problems. I think there's a- got to be ah- an about face strike out in a new direction. lawyers not only being in a court room, but ah- be outside in the community- Indian communities and moving for the people.
