As it was, it was forced on us and we fought it through and had to kill some of them, but they were one and if we would have had to wait for someone to come in here and get it all stirred up again, and have them go to the outside, I don't know whether it would have ever been settled. The only way to whip those people, was to whip them with kindness. We had to, just like our mother, she just took place where she had to give her kids a spanking and then he understands. Well, they understood when they saw that we were still their friends and that we were pleading for them and recognized that it was their country and we came in here specifically to win their friendship and do them good and we didn't relish the idea at all of them going out of here from their country and us inheriting their country. When they found out our true feelings towards them, I'm surprised that they should believe anybody that should tell them that we poisoned Posey. We couldn't have done, we didn't have a chance to. We didn't even know where he was.
