Image was scanned from color slide. Note: Sogetsu Kaikan, the Sogetsu Foundation Headquarters, is the home of Sogetsu Ikebana. It was designed by Kenzo Tange and completed in 1977. The Sogetsu Plaza was designed by a world-famous artist, Isamu Noguchi.--Sogetsu and Akane Teshigahara website. http://www.sogetsu.or.jp/e/know/hall/ Note: Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arrangement which emphasizes shape, line and form as well as a minimalist style.
