Additional Information Image was scanned from color slide. Note: Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arrangement which emphasizes shape, line and form as well as a minimalist style. While there are numerous schools of Ikebana, the three main schools are: Ikenobō, Ohara and Sōgetsu. Ikenobō is the oldest school, dating back approximately 500 years. It is thought to have been created by Buddhist priests. Rikka ("standing flowers") is the traditional and formalistic style of Japanese floral arrangement.--Wikipedia.
