Note: Omotesenke is the name of one of the three houses or families (家) that consider Sen Rikyū their family founder and are dedicated to carrying forward the Way of Tea that he developed.--Wikipedia. Note: Chōzubachi is a vessel originally designed to keep water for rinsing one's mouth and cleansing one's body before worshiping gods or Buddhas. It subsequently evolved into what is called tsukubai and became a fixture of the Japanese tea ceremony found within the yard surrounding the tea house.--Wikipedia.
