Image was scanned from color slide. Caption is from photographer's notes on slide. Kuri originally referred to the "kitchen" of the temple and contains living quarters of priests. It often contains exhibits and the office, and it is open to the public. Amanohashidate is a pine-covered sand spit whose name means: bridge to heaven. |
