There is no freshwater stream in the vicinity of the south shore of Amanohashidate. Freshwater fishing is possible in City of Miyazu and localities more to east of the region. Amanohashidate is a pine-covered sand spit whose name means "bridge to heaven." Image was scanned from color slide. Caption is from photographer's notes on slide. |
