Oral History Interview by Ken Verdoia with Faith Terasawa. The aunt of Donald Nakhata, Mrs. Terasawa was one of the first ethnic Japanese women to be admitted to and graduate from the University of California, Berkeley. During relocation she taught English to other ethnic Japanese in both the Tanforan and Topaz camps, as well as working in the camp's equivalent of a social welfare unit. |
