Lani Adamson Tripoli grew up in Utah and started climbing around age 16 at the Rock Garden Gym in Provo, UT, despite a traumatic fall from a cliff as a child After about a year of gym climbing, Lani went climbing outside in Rock Canyon with gym friends and loved it. Lani worked at The Rock Garden and then The Quarry in exchange for a membership under Yvette Young's mentorship. Lani especially enjoys bouldering in Little Cottonwood Canyon and Ibex, in addition to a variety of competitions throughout the years. Lani currently works as a computer scientist and graduated from the University of Utah. |
