During World War II there was a paper shortage and so no MHS yearbooks (The Crest) were printed. Instead a small handbook was made to cover the years 1943 to 1945. The large center building pictured on the cover is the original Murray High School (previously Hillcrest Junior High). The building on the far right is the gymnasium and the building on the far left is the auditorium. The Hand Book belonged to Phil Anderson.
