Description Central School large building far right; Octagonal building to the left of school and behind trees is the Tracadero dance hall where Jack Dempsey use to practice; Vine Street is directly north of the dance hall where you will find the Jones Court duplexes, the Vine Street Apartments, and the Murray First Ward on the south side of the street. The Cahoon Mansion is located on the west side of State Street, the large house on the left of the side street (Poplar). Smelter housing is to the right of the Smelter pond and the rail road tracks. Those railroad tracks lead into American Smelter and Refining Company which is just out of the bottom of the picture.
