| Description |
Wheeler Historic Farm is a very unique site. It was purchased by Salt Lake County in 1969 and is the only historic site operated by Salt Lake County. The Junior League stepped in to preserve Wheeler Farm for the bicentennial in 1976. The same year it was placed on the National Register of Historic Places. County funds, grant monies and support from the Wheeler Farm Friends, a 501(c)3 nonprofit group keeps the Farm up and running. |
