| Title | Home at 236 East 4800 South built in 1913 |
| Subject | Murray Historic Registry |
| Description | Tax records do not tell us who the original owners were. This was the home of Bessie & Farrell Tucker in 1934 whose son, Glen, later became a coach and athletic director at BYU. The Tuckers sold to Elmer "Cobb" and Melva Peters in 1939 who lived there until 1978. The home was owned by another couple for a few short months before Phillip J. Markham, the Parks and Recreation Superintendent for Murray City at the time, purchased the home in 1979. |
