Lyon Drug Company Undated

George Lyon walked from his family home near the end of Germania Street to his work in the then Dr. Ferrebee's office. This building was located across the street from the now Murray City office building at about 5000 South State Street. After gaining his pharmacy degree he opened his first store at this same address. This store would have been in operation before 1910 and would be at this location until moving up the block on the same side of the street a few years later. This was on the west side of State Street at Third Ave. George is in the center of this picture. The others are unknown.
