| Description |
This case describes a patient with non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy and concurrent macular retinoschisis who was later found to have an optic disc pit after resolution of disc edema. The optic pit was likely associated with the retinoschisis. Fundus imaging, optic coherence tomography, and visual fields are included to demonstrate the clinical findings as well as extension of fluid from the disc to the macula. |
