| Description | "This design has UTAH across the top of the beehive and Sego Lily. The beehive has been in all the past designs of the Utah flag, so I wanted to keep that in the design. Utah is also known as the beehive state. The beehive represents working together, being united in one purpose. It also represents a strong community, which I believe Utah is. There are also six of our state flowers, the Sego lily, representing the six tribes that were originally in Utah. I wanted to make the design very simple. I used close to the same colors that are in Utah's current flag. These colors are associated with what they are, so it is easy to remember." |
