Description Professor Samuelson is a fellow of the Association for Computing Machinery, a contributing editor of communications of the Association of Computing Machinery, a past fellow of the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, and an honorary professor at the University of Amsterdam. A graduate of the University of Hawaii and of Yale Law School, Samuelson was a litigation associate with the New York law firm Willkie Farr & Gallagher before entering academia. From 1981 to 1996, she taught at the University of Pittsburgh Law School and was a visiting professor at Columbia, Cornell, and Emory law schools. Professor Samuelson teaches courses on intellectual property, cyberlaw, and information policy.
