Additional Information The Hotel Utah's Presidents Room (whose walls were lined with portraits of the LDS Church Presidents) was used for special events, meetings, and meals. After the hotel closed, the remodelling project included taking out the north wall of the room to expand it. Today, the larger Presidents Room, located on the Mezzanine level at the southwest corner of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, is still used for special events, and with each new President of the Church, a new portrait is added to the walls.
