Description Most aneurysms of the cavernous segment of the internal carotid artery (ICA) are asymptomatic and do not necessitate treatment. However, treatment should be considered for some lesions, such as those exhibiting mass effect. Herein, we present a patient with a thrombosed cavernous carotid aneurysm affecting cranial nerves III, V1, V2, and VI.
