Description Nonarteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION) is the most common form of ischemic optic neuropathy caused by compromised optic nerve head circulation leading to hypoperfusion and ischemia. Uncommonly, NAION is associated with hypercoagulable state including antiphospholipid syndrome (APS). We report an atypical manifestation of APS in a patient presented with probable sequential bilateral NAION.
