Description The majority of intracranial aneurysms are solitary lesions. At least 15% of patients with one aneurysm harbor one or more aneurysms at another site. Numerous angiographic and autopsy studies have documented the occurrence of multiple aneurysms in both adults and children. The reported prevalence of multiple intracranial aneurysms varies considerably from 350% , but the most reliable figures for multiplicity are probably about 20% for adults and 6% for children under 20 years of age.
