Description Several children have been observed at our institution with a stereotypic intermittent unilateral ptosis, with one eyelid appearing stuck and fluttering in a ptotic position, for several seconds at a time, followed by complete resolution. No etiology was identified despite detailed evaluation. We present and identify the unifying clinical features of this phenomenon.
