Description The purpose of this study is to determine the role of lipocalin 2 (LCN2) in experimental autoimmune optic neuritis (EAON) model. We compared degrees of neuro-inflammation between LCN2 knock out (KO) mice and wild type (WT) littermates by histological analysis of demyelination, reactive astrocytosis and proliferation of microglia.
