Ojos De Dios (Eyes of God)

Ojos de Dios translates in Spanish as "eyes of God" and represents a ceremonial object which originated unknown centuries ago. The symbol of the all-seeing eye has been used for thousands of years. Ojos de Dios, as it has been called by the Pueblo Indiana, has been traced from early Egyptian civilization. Worship of the Egyptian sun God, the sacred eye of Ra, is well-documented. The symbolic "eye" is also seen in early Christian cultures, representing the watchfulness, providence and omniscience of God. Printed on the reverse side of a dollar bill is the Great Seal of the United States, displaying the eternal eye of God.
