Description Vertical smooth eye movements are elicited in response to vertically directed visual and vestibular stimuli. The three types of vertical smooth eye movement are: vestibulo-ocular reflex (VOR); pursu it (SP); optokinetic nystagmus (OKN). Eye-head tracking (EHT) , which involves suppression of the VOR, will be discussed under (a) and (b).
