This was discovered accidentally in the afternoon when she covered her left eye. There was no left eye complaint but the right eye became worse by evening that day and she was seen in consultation. She was a pack a day smoker and had a borderline elevated blood sugar a year earlier. History of "viral" infection for weeks before.
