We present results of our series of 60 patients with traumatic optic neuropathy (TON). A comprehensive approach to ton is outlined, including diagnostic and therapeutic modalityies, such as standardized echography, visual field mean deviation, neutral density filters, iopamidol CT myelography, intravenous mega dose corticosteroids, optic nerve sheath decompression (ONSD) and extracranial optic canal decompression. Complications and algorithm are presented. |
