Description To study the fluctuations of the relative afferent pupillary defect (RAPD) within a day. 10 normal subjects, 5 patients with previous anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (AION) and one patient with strabismic amblyopia underwent 5 sequential RAPD determinations at 8 am, noon and 4 pm (15 trials in one day).
