To describe the atypical presentation of a seronegative case of thyroid associated ophthalmopathy (TAO) which was initially misinterpreted as orbital myositis secondary to adjacent maxillary sinus muco-pyocele. The serological and radiological conversion observed during the follow-up allowed a correct diagnosis and an appropiate treatment. |
