Description IRVAN syndrome is a well known, although rare, syndrome with characteristic findings that include multiple macroaneurysms, neuro-retinitis and peripheral capillary nonperfusion. The following case suggests that elevated intracranial pressure cause by venous sinus thrombosis may be a new element in the etiology of aneurismal dilatations seen in IRVAN syndrome.
