Description Pantothenate kinase-associated neuro degeneration (PKAN) occurs early in the first decade of life and atypically beginning in the 2nd and later decades. When atypical, it often presents with dystonia or gait abnormalities. The neuro-ophthalmologic features have not been described although some patients are known to develop a pigmentary retinal degeneration. We attempt to describe the neuro-ophthalmologic features in three patients with atypical PKAN.
