Description NovaVision VRT Vision Restoration Therapy (VRT) is a computer-based training program developed to improve visual function in patients with visual field defects due to brain damage. By presenting thousands of visual stimuli at the border of the visual field defect and simultaneously giving little stimulation to the intact sector of the visual field, VRT attempts to improve function in areas of "residual vision" that may not be appreciated or perhaps may be neglected by the patient; i.e., areas of "relative defect."
