Description APMPPE is a cause of rapid bilateral loss of vision in young adults found to have multifocal choroidal discrete cream-colored placoid lesions. The visual prognosis is good and patients are usually not treated with steroids. Neurologic complications are rare, and are most otten attributed to cerebral vasculitis. although the pathophysiology of APMPPE remains debated.
